Frances Moreno, C.P.A., is a former director and top client engagement manager of an S&P 500 publicly traded resource-based company in the Greater Los Angeles marketplace. She launched a team consultant division in Los Angeles during her tenure and remained in the top 10 percent of this company's account executives for six consecutive years, often in the top three on the West Coast. Frances has 10 years of experience in accounting, finance and business consulting. She was formerly with Deloitte & Touche, LLP in Business Assurance and Advisory Services. Frances was a national presales consultant for Baan ERP and also worked in accounting and operations for two California state departments, Health Services and California Transportation. Frances was an ambassador to Madrid, Spain under a Rotary Foundation Fellowship from 1994 to 1995. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy with a minor in Spanish from San Diego State University and is a certified public accountant (inactive) in the state of California. She is active with the Financial Executives International (FEI).
Dora Cerrillos
Dora has specialized in entertainment accounting for over 10 years, she began her career with Paramount Pictures and has been with several of the well known entertainment studios in different capacities. Dora received her bachelor’s degree in Finance from California State University Northridge and joined Vaco in 2006.
Mona Dutt
Mona started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Financial Advisory Services group specializing in royalty audits. She then moved into financial planning and analysis, first at Gap Inc for two years and then NBC Universal for six years. She has her MBA from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
Stephanie Keairns
Stephanie Keairns has a decade of experience in the placement and recruitment of accounting and finance professionals. A former Division Director and top producer for an S&P 500 publicly traded company, Stephanie placed professionals in both full-time and project based engagements and was consistently ranked among the top sales professionals in the organization and earned multiple Chairman’s Club Sales Awards. She has primarily served the following counties: Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles. Prior to her recruiting positions, she gained additional experience in the insurance and fitness industries. Stephanie earned her Bachelors degree in Finance from National University in San Diego, CA.
Lorraine Peralejo-Sanchez
Lorraine Sanchez has more than 13 years experience in finance and accounting, primarily in the Los Angeles entertainment industry. Prior to joining Vaco, she worked with Universal Studios Hollywood for six years where she most recently held the position of Manager of Operations Finance, overseeing a $300 million budget. She also served as Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, and was instrumental in streamlining Universal's budgeting process and financial technology. Previous career experience includes strategic planning, corporate reporting, financial statement consolidations and assistant controllership. She graduated with a B.S. in Accounting and a minor in computer information from California State University, Polytechnic in Pomona.
Julie Schneir
Julie started her career in sales before realizing that recruiting was perfect fit for her. Prior to joining Vaco, she ranked in the top three recruiters companywide and has placed many high level accounting and finance individuals in the Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Julie received her Bachelors degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
Anita Shelley
Before joining Vaco, Anita Shelley worked for five years with a multi billion dollar placement firm where she specialized in locating consulting opportunities for senior level accounting and finance professionals in the Greater Los Angeles market. Prior to that, she amassed over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance, 16 of which were in the entertainment industry in New York and Los Angeles. Positions held during her career include Auditor, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller and Controller; and she has worked with national companies including CBS, Hearst Entertainment, and Worldvision Enterprises. Her in-depth experience in managing numerous staff members in a corporate accounting environment enables her to effectively assist clients in identifying the appropriate skills for special projects. Anita holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Queens College in NY.
Stephen P. Smith
After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT, Steve started his professional career at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, in the Stamford office where he achieved senior accountant status and earned his CPA. Subsequent to his tenure with D&T, Steve accepted the Manager of Accounting position at Universal Studios Hollywood. After completing his MBA with an emphasis in Finance at Pepperdine University in December, 2004, Steve was hired as the Global Financial Reporting Manager at CB Richard Ellis Investors Group located in downtown Los Angeles. Ultimately, after nearly 10 years of technical accounting and financial reporting experience, Steve joined Vaco in March 2006.
Craig White
Craig started his career with a multi billion dollar international staffing firm in 2002. He consistently managed over 40 consultants at fortune 500 clients. He has successfully worked on both sides, as a recruiter and an account manager in Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley and Conejo Valley areas where he has continually broke into new accounts and successfully placed multiple people in all his accounts. Craig graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing Management.
Devon Zopfi
Devon started his career with a multi billion dollar international staffing firm in 1997. He consistently managed over 50 consultants at fortune 500 clients and was in the top ten sales every year. He moved from an account manager role in 2000 and became a Sr. Account Executive in the Los Angeles area. From there he was promoted to Sales Manager and was tasked with managing a 30 person team with a revenue goal of 12 million dollars. Devon graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Political Science.
