David is a CPA who has over 20 years of experience in Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining VACO, David was the Division Director for a multi-billion dollar national recruiting firm in Raleigh, NC. There he lead the consulting division which placed and managed CFO and Controller level consultants on special projects and interim assignments. David's achievements include being recognized at the company's annual world-wide awards ceremony as a top producer & leader 5 years in a row.

David began his career as an Auditor, spending 4 years with a regional CPA firm in Wisconsin, specializing in manufacturing, transportation, wholesale, distribution and banking clients. After public accounting, David spent 2 years as an Assistant Controller for a multilocation distribution company. He spent 12 years with a $10 billion Fortune 100 Environmental Company. His roles included Senior Division Controller, Division Vice President and Controller, and Region Sales Manager. David graduated Cum Laude from St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Laney joins Vaco after spending the last 15 years working in information security and compliance. Laney began his career in IT administration and quickly moved to KPMG as and information security consultant. After spending several years at KPMG Laney left to join a boutique consulting firm as a Partner and managed several Fortune 100 companies Sarbanes-Oxley efforts. Laney holds many it certifications and has published four books and several articles. Laney has a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems and is working on a Law Degree at Northwestern currently.

Chuck brings 25+ years of IT experience with a broad skill set in commercial software development and an emphasis in I.T. systems, security and infrastructure management. With over 15 years of I.T. Management experience, Chuck was responsible for I.T. operations and staffing for several small and mid-sized manufacturing companies. He successfully led a number of large ERP implementation projects encompassing finance, sales, operations, supply chain and human resource systems. He also has experience supporting mergers and acquisitions. Chuck holds an AAS in Computer Sciences - Networking and Systems Administration.

Crystal first began her accounting career in manufacturing before moving into the public accounting arena in 1999. Working for a local CPA firm she had a cross-functional position of audit lead for non-profit clients as well as assisting clients with tax compliance and planning issues. She is a Certified Public Accountant has held the Social Chair on the North Carolina Association of CPA's Committee. Crystal graduated Cum Laude from Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Trust Management.

Lauren Lewis started her career at Ernst and Young in the audit and assurance practice.  She spent a few years in the US and a year and half in Sydney, Australia.  When she returned to the US she joined Vaco as a perm recruiter in Raleigh.  Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Masters in Accounting both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Prior to joining VACO Raleigh, Maddox had solid career progression in accounting and finance. She holds her B.S. in Accounting and began her career in public accounting. The bulk of the past 19 years has been spent working in private industry - even serving a stint in the non-profit sector. Her technical expertise and experiences include accounting, financial analysis, strategic planning, as well as project management. Maddox has worked with PepsiCo, WMX Technologies, Progress Energy, and others. In 2000 she paired her accounting and finance experience with an international recruiting firm. Here she developed a consultative approach to the recruiting industry. She is known for her technical expertise and her commitment to uphold high integrity standards - making treating others the way she'd want to be treated a lifestyle, not just a cliché'. Maddox is very active in the local community and lives in Raleigh with her two sons.

Sid has ten years of recruiting, sales and sales management experience in the engineering and IT staffing and consulting industry. He spent seven years with a $3 billion, privately held technical staffing firm, where he established offices in Knoxville and Atlanta for the contract engineering division. He consistently achieved President Club sales levels, and both offices were recognized in the top 5% in sales growth during those periods. For the last three years, he has worked as a producing Branch Manager with a S&P 500 staffing firm in Raleigh focusing on developing the IT staffing and consulting division. Sid is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor's degree in Economics.

Nick has ten years of experience in finance and finance systems. His career has included positions as both a senior analyst and systems administrator. Most recently he has been involved in financial sytems migrations and conversions including Hyperion and SAP. Nick graduated with honors with a degree in Finance from Liberty University.

Rupa has spent the last 7 years of her career in Information Technology. With the majority of her experience in the Healthcare sector, Rupa provided technical support, designed and implemented training programs, and lead teams of up to 30 IT professionals. Her current duties include: identifying and selecting qualified technical talent for contract assignments, relationship management of our consulting staff, and representing VACO Technology before many various user groups and IT associations. Rupa graduated Cum Laude from East Carolina University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology.

Beth has spent 21+ years working in Big 4 public accounting and Accounting Manager and Controller positions in various public and private companies. Additionally, Beth has spent over five years in financial and accounting permanent placement. Previous to Vaco, Beth was a Recruiting Manager and later Division Director for a large, publicly traded agency. During her first year in the recruiting industry she was recognized as Rookie of the Year for North Carolina. Beth received her undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. She is a member of TSHRM and CED in the Raleigh/Durham area, where she has lived for over 20 years.
