Renee is a former CPA that has been in the consulting and recruiting business for over eight years. While completing her B.S. in accounting at Virginia Commonwealth University, she worked in the university’s Internal Audit Department performing operational audits throughout the university. Upon receiving her degree, she went to work for KPMG in Richmond where she had exposure to manufacturing, retail, distribution, not-for-profit and financial service clients. Renee joined Vaco LLC in 2004 and is currently in charge of the Vaco Richmond office. Renee has successfully worked on senior executive level positions throughout the region and has executed consulting engagements for some of the premiere companies throughout Virginia. She has proven to be a top producer year after year and prides herself on relationship development and defining clear business solutions.
Wayne Lynch
Wayne joined the Vaco team as a partner and business development director for the Mid-Atlantic Region. With over 10 years of technology related experience, Wayne has been recognized as a leader in both client development and retention. Formerly a branch manager of consulting services for an international staffing and consulting firm, Wayne consistently earned highest marks in both client and consultant post-assignment satisfaction surveys, verifying his commitment to providing top tier consultants to meet our client's needs.
Robert Eastep
Rob has more than 20 years of highly successful experience in positions of progressive responsibility within various businesses and industries. He is the former CFO of Saxon Capital, Inc. (formerly NYSE: SAX). As CFO, Rob oversaw the Corporate Finance and Capital Markets departments and lead the Accounting, Tax, Treasury, SEC Reporting, Investor Relations, and Capital Markets teams. Prior to Saxon, Rob was with Cadmus Communications as the Director of Internal Audit and Central Fidelity Banks as VP-Finance. Rob also spent 10 years at KPMG LLP in Richmond where he was a Senior Manager in the Financial Service Audit Practice, Regulatory Advisory Practice and was one of the firm’s national instructors. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with honors from West Virginia University. He is the current Executive in Residency at West Virginia University's College of Business and Economics. Rob is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Paula G. Belmonte
Paula Belmonte joined Vaco Richmond one (1) year ago as the Front Office Coordinator tasked with office operations and special events planning. Six (6) short months into the role, she was recruited by Vaco Staffing to join their division as a Staffing Recruiter. Paula brings additional and welcomed energy to the team as they continue to provide quality administrative and clerical accounting personnel to clients throughout Richmond. A graduate in Spanish and Business Administration and an active volunteer in the community, Paula has the proven ability to provide additional added value to the Vaco Staffing team in the form of specializing in bilingual placements.
Carol Bolton
Carol is a CPA with over 15 years experience of public and corporate accounting. Her experience in public accounting was concentrated in not for profit organizations in the Washington, D.C. area. While working in corporate accounting she had experience with multiple manufacturing facilities and served as the Quality Control Manager for the ISO 9001 program. Additionally, she has worked with both public and private clients in the areas of real estate, printing and hedge fund management. Carol received her undergraduate degree from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Shelby Evans
Shelby has over 15 years experience in the recruiting and staffing industry in the Richmond, Virginia market. She began her career with an international specialized staffing firm where she was consistently a top producer for their accounting and financial temporary division. She later started her own staffing company specializing in the temporary and permanent placement of accounting and administrative personnel. Shelby brings solid knowledge of the full-cycle recruiting and sales process to Vaco along with 14 years of strong business relationships. She has been responsible for the placement of hundreds of accounting and administrative professionals over the years, many of whom have become clients. Shelby graduated from Randolph-Macon College with a bachelor's degree in business/economics.
Amy Gaudio
Throughout Amy's career, she has gained a broad range of standard and operational accounting experience. She began her career as a public utility accountant for the State Corporation Commission where she helped conduct audits for public utilities. She later worked as a project accountant for Alstom Power and VMS, gaining experience analyzing schedules, budgets and forecasts for construction projects nationwide. Prior to joining Vaco as a recruiter, she was a business analyst for a manufacturing company, Carpenter Company. Amy graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Paul Gilbo
Paul is an experienced Project Manager with over 34 years in the IT field. He currently is leading the Data Warehouse practice for VACO Technology in Richmond . After entering IT as a programmer in 1972, Paul advanced into IT Project Management, IT Executive Management, and was the CEO of his own consulting practice for 5 years. He came to Richmond , Virginia in 2001 as a professional Project Manager, providing his consulting expertise to companies such as Circuit City , AT&T and World Access. He works closely with both the Richmond and Raleigh offices, focusing on data warehouse and business intelligence projects and is building a team of expert practitioners in this key IT area. Paul is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Virginia PMI Chapter in Richmond, Virginia.
Farah Hottle
Farah joins the Vaco team after graduating magna cum laude from the Honors College at Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in political science. During her college career Farah worked with the General Assembly of Virginia, did volunteer work with youth groups and worked in administrative support. She remains active in many community projects and promises to be a rising star in Vaco Staffing.
Kelly McGuire
Kelly is a CPA with Big Four and Fortune 500 financial and accounting experience. Most recently she was with a Fortune 500 retail company in Richmond, Virginia where she gained significant SEC experience. Kelly began her career in public accounting with KPMG’s Richmond audit practice. At KPMG she obtained her CPA and gained exposure to many industrial market and financial service clients. Kelly graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Jennifer McNamee Brown
The newest member of Vaco's Richmond Technology team, Jennifer McNamee Brown has been engaged as an outside consultant of Vaco since August 2005 as a quality assurance analyst. Prior to her joining Vaco Technology, Jennifer was a senior technical recruiter for an S&P 500, multi-national IT staffing company.
Jennifer's diverse technical background includes over ten years of technical experience in applications development, network administration and QA Analysis. Jennifer's true love is recruiting. She has a track record of building long-term valuable relationships with contractors and consultants of all levels. Jennifer's understanding of current technology and compassion for our candidates adds a special level of service for both our consultants and clients. Will Mrotek
Will has had an interesting and varied career prior to joining Vaco. He spent seven years managing sales and operations for a brewing company in the Milwaukee area before moving into the technology sector. Following three years working as a Microsoft-certified consultant for a high-end software engineering firm in Milwaukee, he accepted the role of business development manager for the company. Over the next four years in this capacity, Will was able to help the company grow by over 150%, while establishing a number of strong relationships with key clients. Most recently, he worked as an account manager for a large technical staffing firm in the Richmond area, focusing on new business development, as well as being the key interface with the firm's largest local client. Will holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.
Stephanie Nowak
Stephanie is a CPA who began her career in the audit division of Arthur Andersen in the Richmond office. In May of 2002, her audit group was merged into the Ernst & Young audit practice. While in public accounting, her primary industries were manufacturing, financial services, and energy. Stephanie joined the Vaco team in October 2004. She holds a BBA degree in accounting from the College of William and Mary.
Chip VanSchaften
Chip began his career in public accounting in the Richmond audit practice of a Big Four public accounting firm. He later joined the corporate headquarters of Circuit City Stores, Inc. and worked as a financial analyst, assisting the company's merchandising teams in managing their businesses by providing valuable profitability insight and analysis. Chip graduated cum laude from the University of Richmond with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
