Kim Brushaber launched her career as a "techie". She spent 12 years working in a variety of roles including - Java Developer, Business Analyst, Release Manager, High Level Tech Support, Database Analyst, etc. For 7 ½ of those years she worked for a company that built Applicant Tracking Systems. In 2008, she decided to change her career path to more directly help individuals and companies on a daily basis by becoming a Technology Recruiter. In 2009, she launched her own business Bridge ATX to help companies improve their hiring processes and to help job seekers identify their dream jobs. Kim brings an intense understanding of all of the aspects that go into creating a good match for both the company and the individual. She really enjoys working with companies to identify the true requirements for a role so that the best possible candidate is selected. Kim is also a pillar of the networking community in Austin where she not only hosts her own networking events but she regularly attends door64, Austin Tech Happy Hour, BASHH and Social Media Club. She has been on the board for Austin Women in Technology and is currently on the planning committee for Texas Exes Austin Professionals.
