Bio

Kris joined Vaco Technology in June, 2011 as a senior technical recruiter and brings 4 years of recruiting and HR experience to the VACO Austin team. Kris has successfully recruited for many different industries including IT, Defense, Education, Finance, Oil and Gas, Retail, Sales and Marketing. Within his recruiting experience, Kris has also handled account management, business development and managed a staff of recruiters to ultimately meet and exceed client expectations. Kris's strength in recruiting is firmly rooted in his ability to build long-term relationships with candidates and to synch those candidates' attributes and skills with companies in need of that skill set.

Previous to recruiting, Kris worked with kids for 8 years as a camp counselor, baseball and basketball coach, bus driver, afterschool coordinator, dorm director for a private boarding school and many other roles as well. Kris's degree was in Elementary Education he's made a quick transition into the HR industry following college. Kris was born in Odessa, TX and attended school at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.

Kris also participates in Central Texas charities such as the Ronald McDonald House and Special Olympics and enjoys playing sports such as basketball, football, softball and golf.
