Data Analyst, Reporting IT

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assists higher level business systems analysts in defining system requirements for application development. May facilitate meetings with the business and technical teams to understand their data and data processes. Responsible for analyzing data sets for data anomalies and/or to verify data quality and content, producing data quality metrics, and researching and designing data corrections when issues are found.

Education and Experience:
BS and 2 + years or equivalent Capabilities: (1) Knowledge of the system requirement definition process and modeling methods and tools (2) Proficient in SQL, data profiling, and data analysis (3) Strong results orientation and problem solving skills
(4) Ability to effectively communicate and work with other team members (from business sectors and applications development) to develop system requirements Organizational Competencies Customer Communications: Communications demonstrate concern and interest in the customer's problems and needs. Written communications are coherent and accurate (e.g., correctly states issues and actions). Communicates frequently with the customer about the status of activities.
