Vaco has an immediate need for a QA Test Lead- Mobile Applications

***Must have Mobile Application Testing experience***

Role and Responsibilities:
* Overseeing execution of all software testing projects tools and techniques within Mobile Applications
* Estimation of testing effort
* Creation of test schedule, manage testing to the schedule and escalate if deviation are foreseen or occur
* Create a daily agenda and facilitate the daily test meetings, capture TARs and Action items, follow-up with issues
* Ensure all Test Cases are created, reviewed, approved, uploaded to QC, Test Sets
* Trace Test Cases back to requirement to verify coverage
* Execution of test cases and recording defects
* Work with the developers to understand the technical requirement/design being built in a project
* Work with the business analyst to understand the business rules and requirements for a project
* Validate Test Preparation of environments and verify all teams are aligned with what needs to occur to build/prepare the test environments
* Coordinate, Track and report regularly on execution of system testing
* Stay informed of all daily testing issues (during execution) and capture these items for discussion with the team during the daily testing status calls
* Verify defects are effectively recorded, communicated and understood
* Create daily scorecard and weekly dashboards
* Create Test Results Report, Go No-Go metrics Report at the end of the project
* Clearly articulate all project issues, defect status, deferred
* Work closely with UAT test lead to ensure that TCoE processes are being followed, UAT team remains on task and makes expected progress during testing
* Facilitate test issue resolution (access to tools, systems, outages, team reviews/walkthroughs, information sessions)
* Incorporated changes that are made in sustain back into that applications testing documentation
* Re-use of existing testing documentation for new projects/releases
* Mentor and provide guidance to testers both on and off-shore
* Analyze and ensure test results and changes/defect are reflected in the test case and test cases are updated appropriately based on resolution
* Identify, create, and review test metrics
* Identify and recommend process improvements as necessary

Previous Work Experience:
* Minimum of 5-7 years direct experience as a test lead for major application integration and/or major application product release
* Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologie as well as recent Mobile testing experience.
* Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
* Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
