We are looking for a QA Tester for a contract in the Dallas area. You should be able to pass a background check and drug screen as well as being a Green Card Holder or US Citizen.

You should have a total of 5+ years' experience in IT, Retail systems preferred with Software, Hardware, System, Database and Network Verification & Validation Testing using industry wide application development & testing tools & methodologies, Microsoft SQL, VB Script, data validation, or similar experience.

Technical:

* 5+ years of solid and proven testing experience

* Moderate knowledge of system, software, platform and network operations

* Some business analysis and project management experience

* Extensive experience in test design and execution throughout the full project life-cycle

* Moderate understanding of programming language concepts

* Some knowledge of scripting languages and Windows programming & configuration

* Some experience with testing software frameworks

* Some experience writing queries to verify back-end functionality and validate data

* Knowledge of system and data architecture, models and the relationships between elements

* Experience in writing data?driven and project status reports

* Ability to turn requirements into tests

* Fluent in English, both written and spoken

* Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and the ability to adapt and learn

* The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of Managers, Leads, Developers, Business Clients, Subject Matter Experts, Support Services and team members

* Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and project management team

Design, plan, coordinate and conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments. Plan and manage all test environment needs. Make frequent and consistent updates to test plans and all test documentation. Perform test coverage analysis and ensure completeness by applying the appropriate methods while meeting the organizations testing guidelines. Create the test data strategy, gather and maintain test data, ensure data integrity, populate test data sheets and generate test logs. Create and implement the test execution schedule. Verify, document and report test case results, defects, and test status. Attend regular project and team meetings and facilitate internal testing meetings. Maintain consistent and clear communication with management, leads and project teams. Continual collaboration with test team, project team and business partners. Demonstrate overall flexibility, adaptability, balance and a well rounded knowledge base within all facets of the assigned role.
