We are looking for a Wyse / SCCM Package System Engineer for a contract roll in Fort Worth Texas. You should be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder and able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Required Skills

Significant experience writing and debugging scripts (command line, VB, and Powershell)

Significant experience with packaging tools for Windows

Strong skills with Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Sharepoint,etc…

Windows System Experience

Experience with InstallShield and/or Wyse Package Studio

Understanding of Windows Installer architecture and best practices

Experience with large deployments and managing end-user systems

Experience in migrating from XP to Windows 7, including differences and an understanding of UAC

Experience with perl or bash scripting

General System Experience

Good testing methodology

Good debugging skills and ability to manage error detection in code

Basic understanding of source control and the software development life-cycle

Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory

Experience applying AD policy changes to servers and workstations

Experience with Virus Scan software maintenance and .dat file updates

Must have sense of urgency when addressing test and production issues

Day to Day Responsibilities

Create and test packages for Windows applications. Work with other teams to establish priority of packages. Create and package fixes for hardening workstation desktops. Maintain build updates for workstations.
