Bio

Mark has over fourteen years of sales production and management experience in the IT Staffing and Consulting industry.  He started his career with a multi-billion dollar international recruiting company in April of 1995.  Mark was hired as a Technical Recruiter and was promoted within six months to a IT Account Manager.  He was given the responsibility of turning around an under performing territory and within a year he established several new strategic partnerships.  Ultimately he grew the territory to a thriving business with over thirty active clients that looked to him to staff development and infrastructure IT professionals.   Mark earned three consecutive annual incentive awards and was an intrical part of an office that ranked top ten out of 200+ offices.  In March of 2000 he was recruited to start up the business operations of a new IT Contract Staffing company.  He laid the foundation for this company and through his efforts grew it to a staff of over fifteen producers.  Mark was responsible for helping his Account Manager and Technical Recruiters learn the staffing industry.  This start-up company is now recognized as one of the fastest growing IT staffing firms in Southeast Michigan.  Mark left for a new challenge in May of 2004.  Mark wanted to learn the permanent recruitment business.  He joined a well established firm that has been in business for thirty years June of 2004.  He successfully won a full functional outsourcing engagement with a Fortune 500 company.  Mark was recognized as a Top Performer for his efforts with his client and helped them to reduce their recruiting process by seven days for on boarding of new employees.  Mark is now a Partner with Vaco Technology in Detroit.  For Vaco he is responsible for developing new business partnerships for his local office.  He's utilizing his experience to advise  clients on how to staff contract and direct hire permanent openings with IT and Digital/Interactive Professionals.  Mark graduated from Ferris State University with a BA in Marketing and Sales.
