Bio

Julianna joined Vaco in October of '08 and currently recruits and markets information technology professionals in East Tennessee. She spent 10 successful years working for the largest IT staffing company in the nation, focused on business development and recruiting technical professionals for many East Tennessee companies. She joined Vaco energized by the entrepreneurial opportunity it provides. 

"I have been a part of the technical staffing industry in Knoxville and Oak Ridge for many years and a highpoint in my career was being a part of a start up office in 1996. I look forward to this challenge. I have been impressed with Vaco's commitment to hiring internal talent with experience, either in the staffing industry or within the specific industry they will be recruiting.

Julianna graduated from the University of TN with a Masters in Human Resources. She is an active member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church and has been volunteering in the children's ministries there for 6 years. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, and spending time at the beach and in the mountains. Julianna describes "freedom in her work" as being empowered to manage your own time and to focus on what you are good at, without having to constantly answer to a micro-managed culture. This kind of "freedom" results in achieving maximum productivity, as well as, the  ability to maintain a work-life balance.
