Senior Accountant - Senior Financial Analyst - Sr. Accountant - CPA - Certified Public Accountant - public/private - Great Plains

Growing entertainment company with impeccable offices and an outstanding reputation seeks an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced Senior Accountant. This position will have responsibility for critical accounting functions for multiple entertainment companies.

What you need:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* 3 - 5 years experience in General ledger accounting/reporting
* Experience in public accounting a plus (will consider candidates coming straight out of public)
* Experience with Great Plains a plus
* Advanced Excel skills
* Independent thinker, problem-solver and strong team member
* Assertive, yet friendly personality with ability to interface with senior executives

What you'll be doing:
* Month end closings and financial reporting for multiple companies
* General Ledger account reconciliations and maintenance
* Prepare, analyze and maintain balance sheet and P&L statements
* Bank reconciliations and cash receipts reporting
* Account analysis and variance research
* Prepare internal and external audit schedules
* Examine accounting reports for completeness, accuracy and conformance with GAAP
* Work with the Controller to ensure all reporting is accurate and timely
