Worthiness - From the very beginning of life we want to be noticed. Babies crave eye-to-eye contact with their mother and other care givers. If they fail to grab their attention they quickly become distressed.
We never lose this need. We want to be noticed. We want to be appreciated. We want to feel we count, that we make a difference. Study after study has demonstrated that one of the prime contributors to job satisfaction is being noticed and appreciated.
To get the most out of your followers, you as a leader should actively look for opportunities to recognize, praise and express your appreciation to your followers for their importance to your organization.
Promise yourself to make all of your family, friends and followers feel they are worthy, valuable and lovable.
