Vaco Technology in Nashville, TN has an immediate opening for a senior Java developer
Responsibilities Include:
*Create multi-tier application architectures
*Design, development and support of new and existing applications in an AGILE environment
*Design and document custom software solutions, which include database models, software architecture, process flow, and web navigation
*Creating unit tests as required
*Working collaboratively with other senior developers
The candidate should have extensive experience working in a lean/agile development environment
Required Skills
* Experience leading a group of senior level developers in an onshore/offshore model
* 7+ years of professional enterprise level development experience using Java, Struts, EJBs, JSP, OOAD, and RDMS (Oracle, DB2 and/or SQL)
* Extensive experience working in a lean/agile environment
* Strong Oracle and/or PL/SQL skills
* Strong experience setting up continuous integration environment
* Unit testing and TDD
* HTML and Javascript
