Bio

Lauren Lanier is a CPA with four years of Big 4 public accounting experience.  She began her accounting career as an auditor in the Nashville office of Deloitte & Touche and specialized in the Financial Services, Manufacturing, and Publishing industries.  While at Deloitte, she served as Chairman of the office's Nashville Advisory Council. Lauren received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Accounting and her Masters in Accountancy from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. 

In 2008, Lauren moved to Memphis to join Vaco Mid South, but has since transitioned back to her hometown with Vaco's Nashville office where she specializes in recruiting for the Vaco Resources consulting division. Lauren is an avid runner and has participated in numerous half marathons and long-distance relay races. In 2010, she completed her first marathon, qualifying her for Boston.

When asked what she enjoys about life at Vaco, Lauren says, "I love the people I work with and the entrepreneurial culture at Vaco. I get to maintain my roots in the financial world while meeting the talented professionals of Nashville and those around the country. Everyday, I get the opportunity to support my clients by helping them identify the resources needed to add value to their organizations."
