Among Best Places to Work in New Jersey

Bridgewater - April 24, 2009 -- Vaco was honored as one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey in an awards ceremony last night at the Hilton East Brunswick.  The Bridgewater-based consulting and placement firm ranked number twelve among companies in the medium-sized category. 

Produced by NJBIZ magazine, this survey and award program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in New Jersey, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and businesses.

About the NJBiz Best Places to Work in NJ Program

The Best Places to Work in NJ program is made up of 55 companies split into two groups: 30 medium-sized companies (25-249 employees) and 25 large-sized companies

(more than 250 employees).

In order to be nominated, companies from across the state entered a two-part process.  The first part consisted of evaluating each company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process. Additionally they analyzed the data provided and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
