Bio

Denise joined Vaco as a founding partner of the Florida offices in 2005. Vaco is a firm that specializes in matching the strongest accounting, financial, IT, operations, sales, human resources and administrative professionals with the unique project and permanent needs of its clients.  Denise was brought on to build Vaco in the Florida market from ground zero. At the time, Vaco had no presence in the state of Florida, Denise has since carved a place for Vaco in the Florida market place as the leading company in this industry.  Since 2005 when Denise opened Vaco she has successfully built an accomplished Orlando team from 1 employee to 25 development professionals and recruiters who support their local client base in the Central Florida market.  Under her guidance, her  team currently manages over 100+ consultants and temporary staff who are working on strategic projects and interim needs at over 40+ local companies and has been named by the Orlando Business Journal and Florida Trend as one of the Best Places to Work. Denise has grown the Orlando operations from a de novo start with no revenue or local reputation to a trusted, well-established Orlando firm, with growth revenue of 40% from 2009 to 2010.  Denise has been an integral part of the national growth of Vaco as well.  She has served on the senior strategy team and has been instrumental in driving operational process, sales strategy and internal recruiting.  

Prior to joining Vaco, Denise led the financial consulting operations in the Central Florida market for a multi-billion dollar global staffing and consulting firm. There she was responsible for managing the consulting practice, which placed and managed CFO and controller level consultants on special projects and interim assignments. Denise consistently ranked in the top 10% of all producers worldwide. Denise also has over 15 years of experience as a senior finance and accounting professional holding positions with both the Walt Disney Company and Hilton Hotels.  She began her career with Coopers and Lybrand in the audit division and graduated from the University of San Francisco with a bachelor's degree in finance.

Denise is not just committed to her Vaco core team of people and clients, she is also dedicated to creating a better community through the support of non-profit organizations, including those that support Central Florida business growth.  Denise leads by example by managing to spend a significant portion of her time supporting local organizations such as serving on the Board of Directors for Shepherd's Hope In addition to giving back to local organizations and associations, she provides free monthly events for the Central Florida community to teach professionals how to excel in their careers through various events and seminars.  She is laser-focused on advancing the success of her clients, candidates and the community.
