Bio

Valdo began his career in placing financial and accounting project consultants in 2001 with an S&P 500 company in their Los Angeles, Irvine and Phoenix markets. He served as director of the finance and accounting consulting division, and also managed engagements ranging from tax and audit consulting to financial system implementations. Valdo now serves as a Partner at Vaco Resources in Phoenix and in Tucson. There, he is responsible for leading, and contributing to, the success and growth of a team of account executives in placing CFO and Controller level consultants on special projects and interim assignments.

Valdo has nearly fifteen years of accounting experience; holding various banking positions with Merrill Lynch and Bank of America. He has also worked for Xerox Corporation in Phoenix, New York and Los Angeles where his responsibilities ranged from Senior Financial Analyst to Operations Controller, after which he became a controller for a publicly held software company in Santa Monica, CA. Valdo is a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX with a BBA, and he earned his MBA from Loyola Marymount University.
