Andrea "Andee" Bunten is Senior Technical Recruiter at Vaco Raleigh, LLC, where she supervises the recruiting, sourcing and screening of active and passive candidates with diverse and hard-to-fill requirements for Vaco Technology. Vaco Technology works with clients to develop a customized, flexible solution that addresses IT project initiatives and direct hiring needs, ranging from help desk to leading edge developers to visionary CIOs on a project and permanent basis. Andee utilizes new and established methodologies and strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, improve retention and streamline hiring processes to create a competitive advantage for the division. She brings more than 10 years recruiting experience in diverse fields and industries, including four years in IT recruiting, to Vaco and its clients.

Prior to joining Vaco, Andee served as a technical recruiting professional with training and experience in a variety of corporate, agency environments and startup companies. As technical recruiter for IBM at Research Triangle Park, she was responsible for full life-cycle recruitment within the company's Software Sales and Technology Group, and she was selected as a member of a two-person team tasked with developing and implementing a targeted recruitment strategy that encompassed the new RPM Model. Andee exceeded quotas set by management while serving as account manager at The Staffing Resource Group in Raleigh and received a promotion to team leader in her first year as senior recruiter at Executive Staffing Group in Raleigh. Prior to working in the Triangle, Andee was a senior technical recruiter at Online Connecting Point (now part of Wareforce) in Irvine, Calif. and a staffing specialist at System One Technical in San Diego. She has provided full life-cycle recruiting of all levels of staff and departments in biotechnology, software sales, technical pre-sales, R&D, software & hardware development, IT, manufacturing, professional services, and telecommunications.

Andee earned her Human Resource Management certification from the University of California, San Diego and her associate degree from Crafton Hills Junior College in Yucaipa, Calif. She belongs to multiple technology and recruiting user groups and organizations. Her charitable activities include volunteering at Northridge Elementary School, which her children attend, and participating in many different charity events, mostly of which support cancer research.

A native of San Diego, Andee resides in north Raleigh with her three children, Madeleine, Quentin and Owen, and their dog, Zoe.
