Bio

Joe Medina is a senior financial recruiter at Vaco Raleigh, LLC, where he is part of a team responsible for connecting clients with qualified professionals in the financial and accounting industries.

Joe earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Hofstra University in Long Island, N.Y, where he served in the Hispanic Student's Association. He began his career as a financial and trading specialist with Chase Manhattan Bank and EF Hutton, large trading operation firms in New York City. He joined the recruiting industry nearly two decades ago, working for Fortune 500 corporations, including positions at a large publicly traded recruiting firm as a division director and recruiting manager. His previous recruiting experience also included corporate-level networking in the banking and trading industries.

Active in the financial community, Joe is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, Inc. He is also involved with the Knights of Columbus, a national charitable organization.

A native of Long Island, Joe resides in Raleigh with his wife, Yvette, and their sons, Joseph and Christopher.
