Who We Are

History

Our Supply Chain group was born from the request of one of our clients to assist them in their merchandising systems implementation. As we located and provided these resources, we soon learned that retailers had limited options when they needed help in this area. We also found that clients were not always told the full story and were often caught between the initiatives of the consulting firms and software companies. This was the perfect opportunity for us to build a team of like-minded consultants who were not only highly skilled and motivated but shared a common ideal to do the best for their clients. By empowering these consultants to truly lend their expertise, we were able to quickly establish ourselves as the primary source of retail process and systems experts to our client, and our practice was born.

Philosophy

Simply put, our focus is on establishing long-term, trusting relationships and we see our job as doing the right thing for you and your business. We are not a massive, publicly-traded firm which must answer to financial analysts. We have no personal agendas or goals beyond making your effort successful and profitable for you as quickly as possible - period. We do this by providing highly-experienced, highly-skilled resources whose only goal is to do the right thing for our clients. We'll tell you what you need to hear, not what we think you want to hear.

Approach

When an organization makes the decision to buy a supply chain management system, they usually do it with one main purpose - to increase efficiencies and maximize their return on investment. Unfortunately, too often these organizations have little or no in-house experience with these specific systems. However, at the same time, they are asked to make decisions about how they want the final product to look and act without really knowing how the systems work or the full extent of their capabilities. In our opinion, a long, drawn-out implementation based upon early decisions made with limited knowledge is counter-productive. We'll get you up and running quickly, so your users gain experience and can provide real, informed input as the effort goes forward, meaning you realize returns on your investment earlier than expected.

But it's not just about what we can do, but also about what we can help you do for yourself. From day one our job is to make your internal staff successful. A key aspect of this is to build their competency in industry best practices, internal workings of the software, and how to configure the systems to meet your needs. Once the product is installed, we focus on fully transferring knowledge with the goal of making you self-sufficient as soon as possible. After all, do you really want outside consultants on your payroll for years on end?
