Bio

Kat Miller started her career in the Audit practice at KPMG in Chicago, focusing on large, public companies within the consumer products and manufacturing industries.  After a couple years, she decided to leave accounting to pursue her interest in recruiting and joined a local boutique recruiting firm in Chicago.  Here she focused on sourcing accounting and finance candidates from staff to executive level primarily with large public accounting firm experience.  After spending some time in San Diego, she decided this was where she wanted to be, given the promising business opportunities, culture, and overall lifestyle.  Through various connections she was referred to Vaco and became a part of the San Diego team in April 2010.  She is excited to become actively involved in the San Diego community and marketplace and to continue partnering with individuals to meet their career goals.  

Kat is a CPA and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's degree in accounting.
