Bio

Lauren was very excited to join the Vaco team as a recruiter in February 2011 and specializes in the placement of finance and accounting professionals on a direct hire and consulting basis. She is originally from Birmingham, Alabama where she began her career in the audit division of Ernst & Young. After a few years in public accounting she moved into industry where she gained experience as an SEC Reporting Analyst. In 2009, Lauren moved to San Diego for the sun and surf and joined Vaco as an accounting consultant.  She now uses her experience in public accounting and industry to help match candidates up with their ideal opportunity for career advancement. 

Lauren is a CPA and received her BS in Finance and Economics from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL and her Masters in Accounting from University of Alabama at Birmingham.
