The Information & Technology Services division of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager for our Lotus Notes and SharePoint development team. You will be responsible for developing and driving our projects, scaling and managing a team of highly talented developers, and maintaining a strong relationship with our customers.

The SharePoint / Notes development team creates solutions that satisfy our customer's business objectives and insure success on both sides of the relationship to build enduring long-term relationships with strategically important business lines.

Highlights of Responsibilities:
Develop and drive our strategic initiatives to support the continued growth and success of our application development portfolio
Establish and maintain effective user relations, confidence and service levels
Develop and maintain an understanding of the user business operating environment, and provide consultation with users on automated solutions for business needs
Develop project plans, determine goals, time frames, funding limitations, risks, procedures for accomplishing the project; determine staffing requirements, and allotment of resources
Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and tasks and keep management, clients and others informed of project status, risks and related issues
Manage project cost to ensure it falls within budget constraints
Coordinate and respond to requests for changes from original specifications
Develop fallback and contingency plans
Prepare technical reports, business correspondence and procedural manuals
Develop quality assurance plans to monitor project results against specifications
Follow the 12th District's Application Development processes
Manage a team to include hiring, developing, coaching & engaging employees, while directing workflow

Qualifications:
Must be U.S. citizen or a green carder holder with the intent to become a U.S. Citizen to be considered for this position
Undergraduate degree or equivalent knowledge and work experience
4 + plus years of technology project and/or application development project experience of medium complexity, especially on projects following a system development or project management process
Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate with all levels of staff and different disciplines; strong interpersonal skills; and organizational skills
Thorough understanding of software development methodologies and project management practices; working knowledge of Project Management tools, including Microsoft Project and Visio
Ability to work independently, and perform tasks of moderate to high complexity, which requires knowledge of technical and business environments
Demonstrated ability to work on several competing requests at one time and manage concurrent tasks with minimal direction

Preferred Skills:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate
Experience with agile development life cycles, especially the Unified Process and Scrum
Experience with SharePoint and/or Notes development
Prior staff management experience
