We are in search of a Senior Inventory Control Analyst for our Entertainment client in Foster City, CA.
The overall responsibility of the Sr. Inventory Control Analyst is to ensure inventory accuracy and transactional integrity of products and material components in client's systems along with multiple vendor systems. Daily analysis of reports, e-mail communication and inventory audits are all required parts of the role along with the critical thinking required to determine and correct points of failure when they occur. This position is also expected to drive ongoing efforts to automate inventory transactions between business partners and establish business and system processes as required.
Principle Duties / Responsibilities:
* Analyze inventory reports to identify and correct transactional and purchase order errors throughout client's multiple inventory sites including product repair and refurbishment facilities in the US and Canada.. Create active KPI reporting on transactional issues to capture recurring issues and identify process improvement opportunities.
* Partner with the Operations Business Systems Analyst and other Operations and Logistics team members to identify, develop and implement continuous improvement projects to correct deficient system process, introduce automation, remove manual process and correct connectivity issues with our multiple vendors/partners
* Ensure proper procedures are followed for inventory transactions at all vendor sites and internally within company and provide education to groups as required
* Maintain and regularly publish a process map for all transaction types and publish updates as required to our vendors/partners
* Manage Bi-Quarterly physical inventory counts and weekly cycle counts as required, assist in Logistics Cost reporting analysis, manage client's item master data integrity through analysis and gap reporting
Required Knowledge / Skills:
* Demonstrated understanding of principles of Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain
* Detailed knowledge of ERP system operations and Warehouse Management Systems " WMS"
* Knowledge of warehouse transactional operations including Stock transfer orders "STO", WIP, BOM, Receiving, Shipping, Scrap, etc.
* In depth computer skills (spreadsheets/word processing/power point)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical processes
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and to meet project deadlines.
* Superior organizational, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or related field
* 3 - 6 years of experience in inventory control or similar supply chain analysis position
* Computer literate (in MS Word, Excel Power Point, etc.)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* APICS Certification or similar professional association affiliation preferred
