Meet the newest Vaco player: Dawson Armstrong. Dawson is embarking on his professional golf career starting today, proudly representing Vaco at the web.com Nashville Golf Open, occurring May 24-27.
Like Vaco, Dawson has deep roots in Nashville and is ready to make waves throughout the country and around the world. Dawson moved to Nashville and seriously began pursuing his passion for golf at the age of 9. He is a 2018 graduate from Lipscomb University, where he was a two-time All American, three-time ASUN player of the year and boasts ten collegiate victories. Dawson also won his first professional qualifying event in March as an amateur.
Upon graduation, Dawson made the decision to pursue golf professionally. An entrepreneurial spirit – combined with Dawson’s undeniable talent – allowed him to make his professional debut a few short days after turning pro and he didn’t waste any time…winning his first tournament as a professional two weeks ago in Knoxville, TN.
After Dawson takes on the Nashville Golf Open this week, we look forward to cheering him on at his PGA Tour debut on June 7, 2018 in Memphis, TN.
Dawson exemplifies what it means to be proud to wear the jersey, and we’re so excited that all of his will bear the Vaco logo.
