Operations and Management Reporting Systems for a Major Mortgage Company
Enable Optimal Demand Fulfillment and Facilitate Greater Channel and Investor’s Satisfaction
Create a Scalable Solution that Supports The Client's Operations
A major mortgage company needed Binary Semantics, A Vaco Company, to define and construct an Operations and Management Reporting System (OMRS) application to make decisions in buying and selling mortgage securities, maximize the contribution from these operations, enable optimal demand fulfillment and facilitate greater channel and investor’s satisfaction. The challenge was to create a robust and scalable solution that supports the client’s operations in analysis and reporting of its data, while measuring the performance and opportunities. The program also had to be able to develop the capability to centralize and control critical portfolio and asset level performance data, and had to work through the difficulty to manage and control several different Excel spreadsheets that evolve over time, which can make it tough to summarize information.
Created a Scalable Solution for The Client's Reporting System
Through Binary Semantics’ processes, they were able to develop an Internet/Desktop-based solution that seamlessly integrated the client’s loan analysis and operations data with the trading process. They were also able to create strong analytical reports that were incorporated to consolidate the reporting system, and develop flexible rules-based system that allows clients substantial flexibility in defining the characteristics and behavior of the system to meet their processing requirements.
The client saw ROI through hassle free, 24/7 availability of enterprise data, integration to back-office system, seamless flow of information between corporate systems and remote stations, real-time reporting and analysis, SOX-compliance, faster end-of-day settlements, and scalability to accommodate future business growth.
