An International Logistics Provider Was Using A 15-Year-Old Supply Chain Application
An international logistics provider's web-based application needed updating to showcase the company's differentiating functionality capabilities. Vaco stepped in to step it up.
Transform Outdated Web System
An international logistics provider had a web-based supply chain management application that gave their customers visibility and management of their international supply chain. However, the 15-year-old application had new functionalities bolted on year after year, resulting in an ugly Frankenstein system with an outdated interface. To prevent other logistics providers from eating into their market share, the company needed an upgrade path and a redesigned system with better usability, cleaner workflows, and a sleek modern interface.
Deliver Leading-Edge Technology
Vaco partnered with the client to create a two-phase migration plan. Phase One migrated the client to an updated technology platform through Project Management and assisting in the creation of a faster Quality Assurance Process. For Phase Two, Vaco conducted a thorough analysis with executive leadership, IT, sales, customer support, and external customers to lead a full redesign of the application.
