As a former HR Generalist and Industrial and Organizational Psychology graduate, Lynzi found her niche in the recruiting world at Vaco. Outside of the office, you’ll usually find her traveling (whether that be locally around Middle Tennessee, back home to my roots in New Jersey, or across the country on a new adventure)!
What is your role at Vaco, and what do you do?
My role is Director of Staffing Operations. I am a liaison between the recruiters and business development team in the Staffing Division. I focus on operations and administrative functions, process flow and improvement, reporting and quality control.

What’s the secret to a great interview?
The secret to a great interview is the following: arriving on time, being prepared with copies of your resume, application and references, being prepared with examples of your work that pertain to the role you are interviewing for, and following up with a thank you note.
What is something you can do better than anyone else you know?
If I don’t know how to do something, I am driven to find out how to do it. I love to investigate and find solutions!
How would you describe the work environment at Vaco compared to other recruiting agencies?
