Recruitment efforts aim to keep graduates in the Nashville market; cultivate next generation of minority c-suite executives and outstanding professionals
NASHVILLE, Tenn., – March, 31, 2020 – Vaco, a talent and solutions firm that provides consulting, contract and direct hire solutions to more than 40 markets around the globe, has launched a partnership with Fisk University and its Nashville office to help better prepare students as they enter the workforce.
Through the partnership, Vaco will provide educational workshops focusing on resume and interview skills in collaboration with Fisk University’s Center for Career Planning and Development. Additionally, through dedicated recruitment efforts, Vaco seeks to keep Fisk’s graduates in the Nashville area, helping to strengthen the university’s reputation and alumni base locally.
The program’s goals also include increasing minority talent in the greater Nashville community by cultivating a robust pipeline of high-caliber candidates and providing the next generation of minority c-suite executives and outstanding professionals.
The partnership will connect students with opportunities at some of Nashville’s top companies–and Vaco clients. To learn more about it, visit vacodev.wpengine.com/fisk.
