Vaco Fuels Growth Trajectory with Powerhouse C-Suite Technology Hire

Phillip Noe Joins Vaco from World’s Largest Staffing Firm

October 2, 2018 – Nashville, TN – Vaco, a premier talent & solutions firm serving 40 markets around the world, announced the appointment of Phillip Noe as its new Chief Information Officer, as of October 1.

Noe will lead Vaco’s information technology strategy both internally and externally, implementing innovative technology solutions and programs to best serve Vaco clients, candidates, consultants and internals. An industry veteran, Noe will work with business leaders to modernize how the current and incipient technology landscape supports Vaco business units and their growth across the globe. Implementing best-in-class strategic initiatives to provide emerging tools and technologies, Noe’s leadership will ensure that the organization’s technology is on par with the world class service and consultative approach for which Vaco is known.

“It’s been said that our industry will be the last to be completely disrupted by technology because the complexity of consulting and career management require such a heavy human touch. We’re going to play like the disruption will happen tomorrow and utilize innovation to enhance the Vaco experience for our clients, consultants and candidates,” said Vaco Co-founder and CEO, Jerry Bostelman. “We’re thrilled to have a player like Phil leading the team that delivers smart technology to fuel unforgettable service to all the constituents of Vaco.”

Prior to joining Vaco, Noe held several roles with The Adecco Group, where he was most recently the CIO for the North American Region. During Noe’s 25+ years in the IT industry, he has held IT management positions across several industries. In all of his roles, his keen knowledge on a global delivery model was honed, and he now lectures on the topic. He has held appointments at the University of North Florida, teaching in both the College of Business and the College of Health.

Outside of work, Noe has served on the Advisory Board for the Florida State College of Jacksonville, the economic development committee with the Chamber of Commerce, and he currently serves on the University of Florida Parent and Family Council.

Vaco has entered into six new markets in the past 18 months and this hire comes on the heels of two other additions to the C-Suite in the last three years. Tracey Power joined Vaco in late 2015 as Chief People Officer, followed by Amanda Henley as Chief Marketing Officer in 2017.

Noe joins them as a result of efforts by Focus Search Partners, a Vaco subsidiary that provides retained executive search services to private equity-backed high-growth companies across the US and Canada.
