Vaco ranks No. 3,732 on list with three-year revenue growth of 97%
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Aug. 12, 2020 – Vaco, a talent and solutions firm that provides consulting, contract and direct hire solutions to more than 40 markets around the globe, was ranked No. 3,732 by Inc. magazine on its 39th annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. This marks the 14th consecutive year Vaco has been included on the list since the company’s founding in 2002.
The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment – its independent private businesses. The list is ranked according to percentage revenue growth over a three-year period, and Vaco notched a 97% growth rate during that time.
Vaco’s growth can be attributed to its breadth of clients served in 40+ markets across the globe, the span of engagements it delivers from executive search to managed services, and Vaco’s commitment to people-focused relationships with its employees, consultants, candidates, and clients.
In a tireless effort to deliver more, Vaco has recently rebranded Aventine Hill Partners to Vaco in San Antonio; and it also acquired both MEBC Global, now rebranded as Plantensive, a Vaco Company, and MorganFranklin Consulting. The talent and solutions firm has also expanded its footprint in South Florida, and opened new offices in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Holmdel, New Jersey.
“It’s an honor to see our name on this esteemed list for the 14th year in a row, and we’re especially grateful for the inspirational stories within it as we fight through these unprecedented times,” said Vaco co-founder and CEO Jerry Bostelman. “At Vaco we’ve been intentional about living our mantra of ‘six feet away and closer than ever’ as we rally around our employees, clients, candidates and communities. We always learn new ways to serve from the leaders on this list as we get it, together.”
Not only have the companies on the 2020 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists as well. The 2020 Inc. 5000 achieved an incredible three-year average growth of more than 500% and a median rate of 165%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $209 billion in 2019, accounting for more than 1 million jobs over the past three years.

The annual Inc. 5000 event honoring the companies on the list will be held virtually Oct. 23-27, 2020. As always, speakers will include some of the greatest innovators and business leaders of our generation.
