Vaco opens Milwaukee office and names Brian Herczeg managing partner

Milwaukee  – April 21, 2020 – Vaco, a talent and solutions firm that provides consulting, contract and direct hire solutions to more than 40 markets around the globe, has opened a Milwaukee office, and named Brian Herczeg, a veteran technology consulting executive and market expert, managing partner.

Vaco’s new office is located in the Milwaukee suburb of Pewaukee, Wisconsin – and will be a valuable resource for displaced workers during the escalating coronavirus pandemic that has more than doubled the record unemployment rate in recent weeks. The new office serves the greater Milwaukee, Madison and Fox Valley markets.

The new space will accommodate Vaco’s growing team and positions the company to better serve clients and candidates. Services offered include technology, consulting, executive search, permanent placement, project management, accounting and finance, and corporate relocation.

“We are thrilled to open our office in Milwaukee, and Brian and his team will advance our vision and strategic expansion as we continue our passionate pursuit to drive excellence for our clients, candidates, and consultants,” said Kevin Witt, Vaco Executive Director. “We are eager to grow our footprint and extend our services in one of the top markets in America.”

Herczeg, who has more than 20 years of experience in business development, sales and information technology, previously served as assistant vice president and branch manager for Robert Half’s Milwaukee office. He was also the division director of Robert Half Technology in Madison, and served in sales management for Pacific Alarm Company.

He received a bachelor’s degree in communications and media studies from Marquette University.

“What drew me to Vaco was the way they hire people. They pick people to join the team who they genuinely want to be around, people they would hang out with outside of work,” Herczeg said. “Other places use things like salary ranges and demographics to pick their team members. Vaco is just completely different, picking top producers for who they are and not what box they fit in.”

Vaco’s Milwaukee office will be part of a powerhouse that delivers talent solutions across diverse industries and to more than 10,000 clients globally as it continues to grow.

In recent years, Vaco has announced numerous acquisitions and expansions, including last year’s acquisition of Aventine Hill Partners, a San Antonio, Texas advisory, consulting and executive search firm; acquisition of MEBC Global, a Pennsylvania consulting firm specializing in supply chain processes in late 2018; the expansion of its business agility services operations in the Raleigh-Durham, N.C. area; and the acquisition last August of MorganFranklin Consulting, a leading finance and technology advisory firm based in the Washington, D.C. area, with regional offices in Atlanta, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
