As Vaco Indianapolis’ Managing Partner, Matt oversees the Indy team and its day-to-day operations. With more than 15 years of industry and team-building experience, Matt is passionate about helping clients and trusted consultants grow their businesses and thrive in their careers.
Prior to joining Vaco, Matt spent eight years at a publicly-traded professional staffing firm before moving to Vaco in 2011 to assist in the launch of the Vaco Columbus office.
Matt co-founded and launched Vaco Indianapolis in January 2013 to build out Indianapolis’ practice and operate as an extension of clients’ businesses to provide best-in-class strategic, long-term solutions. While focusing on building out an internal team and culture where the best and brightest in the industry can spend their careers, Matt and the Indianapolis team are able to offer a place where clients and trusted consultants will be served for the duration of their careers.
He is actively involved with several community organizations, most notably serving as the Vice President on the board of directors for The National Foundation of Special Needs Integrity and also serves on the board of directors for New Leaf National Foundation which services to protect persons with disabilities who receive means-tested government benefits, and he volunteers his time at the Wheeler Mision. Matt and his wife Jodi have four children, Reagan, Cameron, Connor, and Carter. Outside of the office, you can usually find him at a field watching his kids play baseball, rugby, and football.
What do you love best about working at Vaco?
The people and the opportunity to be great in my own unique way and to work on a team where everyone is proud to wear the jersey.
