Michelle is the Senior Staffing Manager and brings over a decade of experience between sales and recruiting. She provides clients support by engaging a wide variety of talent from C-Suite to entry-level.
Michelle found an interest in recruiting because she was always that child who came home with the report card saying, “spoke too much in class,” and has never been short of words. No matter who Michelle is working with, she is focused on being able to develop a connection and relationship to best help their needs.
Outside of the office, Michelle loves to be surrounded by family and friends, and has a competitive spirit. She looks forward to watching a movie, playing games, or a going out to dinner with her people. She also considers herself blessed to be a mom and never knew all the extra skills she possessed until God brought her daughter into her life.
What’s the most rewarding part about your job?
Seeing people placed in roles that best fit their skills and helps them grow as a professional — and on the flipside, being able to engage top talent for my client’s unique needs to best support their organization.
What’s the secret to a great interview?
I advise people to pretend they’re talking to someone close to them because those people are our biggest champion. Thinking of the positive things they would say about you provides an ease and allows you to focus on the end goal — the job. It helps boost confidence, to elaborate on skills, and nerves disappear.
What’s something you can do better than anyone else you know?
Multi-tasking and working at a “road-runner” speed.
What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to learn?
A new language.
What’s one cause or organization you’re passionate about?
My passions are children and animals. I grew up with parents who fostered kids and it was inspiring to provide deep love and support to them. For as long as I can remember, I have always brought home stray animals and wished I had a farm to keep them all.
