What is the most rewarding part about working for a recruiting agency?
Working for a recruiting agency is rewarding because I’m part of a process that helps people find work and connect with their dream jobs. Job searching is stressful on your own, so it’s fulfilling to be a part of a team that does nothing but ease worries and fight for the success of others.
What characteristics and disciplines do you need to be successful in your role at a staffing firm?
Attention to detail and the ability to roll with the punches. Things move quick around here, so you have to be able to keep up and do it accurately!
What is your role at Vaco, and what do you do?
I’m an Operations Admin, so I offer sales support to producers and assist in the behind-of-the-scenes work of placing people in roles with our clients.
What’s the most important piece of professional/career advice you’ve ever received?
You can do anything with a positive attitude better than you can do it with a negative one. Mindset is everything.
We know Vaco is your dream job, but if you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
I’d love to live by the beach and be a tennis pro!
What’s one cause or organization you are passionate about?
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It is a hospital and mission that is very close my heart, and the St. Jude Marathon Weekend is my favorite weekend of the year!
