About Lindsey

As an Account Manager for Vaco Nashville’s technology team, Lindsey partners with clients to help them find and retain the best IT talent in Nashville. Outside of the office, she enjoys acting like a tourist in her hometown by trying all the new restaurants, grabbing a drink on Broadway, and catching a great show. She’s also a dog mom to sweet Piper, so she frequents the dog park pretty often, too.

What is your role at Vaco, and what do you do?

I work on our core technology consulting team and help my clients find the best IT talent for special projects or temporary needs.

How would you describe recruiting agencies to a third grader?

We help people find jobs they love, while also helping companies find the best people to hire for their teams.

What is the most rewarding part about working for a recruiting agency?

The most rewarding part about working for a recruiting agency is making connections for people that may not have been made without our help. In addition to making the connection between a consultant and a company, it is extremely rewarding to hear when your consultant helped get a project across the finish line. To me, that’s a win all around!

What would you say are the top five benefits to working at Vaco versus other staffing companies?

The Flexibility: I’m able to conduct business in a way that works for my clients and me.

Our size: We have the capability to support clients across the globe.

Our leadership: They truly lead from the front and lend a helping hand anytime you need it.

Our culture: We take this seriously!

Our office: We have wine on tap.

We know Vaco is your dream job, but if you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?

I would be a marine biologist.

What do you think is unique about the culture at Vaco compared to other staffing agencies?

Vaco’s culture is unique all around. One of the first things I noticed when I interviewed was that all of the people interviewing me had been with the company for 10+ years. That was shocking to me since the turnover rate at most staffing agencies is astronomical. The people I work with truly care about my success and well-being in and out of the office.
