Bob brings 27 years of senior management, accounting and tax experience, including 10 years of experience in public accounting, and has served small to mid-sized companies, primarily in the banking, retail, and food service industries.
Bob began his career with a Big Four firm as an auditor focused on banking clients, and served as a partner at his family’s public accounting firm for eight years.
Bob moved from public accounting and accepted the CEO/CFO role for his family’s convenience store and fuel business, where he led a team of more than 300 employees, and was responsible for process improvements in operations and accounting. During his 14-year tenure the company grew by more than 300%, until the company was sold in 2015.
Bob currently serves as President and CEO/CFO of his family’s 11 QSR franchised restaurants, and is responsible for managing real estate acquisitions, franchising, restaurant construction, operations and information systems.
Bob received his BBA in Accounting and Finance from Texas A&M University. He is a CPA licensed in Texas, and is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has served as President of the Rotary Club and on numerous boards of non-profit organizations. He enjoys the outdoors by playing golf, competing in ½ marathons, marathons and Ironman triathlons.
