Farah Salam-Hottle is Vaco’s Senior Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, overseeing the DEI strategy and programming for over forty (40) locations in the U.S. and Canada. With more than 15 years of experience in talent acquisition and business development, Farah’s approach is rooted in uniting cross-cultural teams to drive business outcomes.
Prior to leading DEI, Farah spent two years developing the firm’s first DEI council and seven years leading a national talent acquisition team.
She is an active community leader, passionate about building bridges in interfaith communities and economic empowerment for refugees. She co-founded the Afghan Association of Central Virginia, a non-profit organization dedicated to the resettlement of Afghan evacuees, in 2021.
Farah obtained her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Honors College at Virginia Commonwealth University and has completed post-graduate studies in Workplace Diversity. She lives in Richmond, Virginia, with her husband, four children and a spoiled Maltese named Ziggy.
