A self-described “servant leader and coach,” Megan’s approach to marketing requires patience and precision. With a people-first mentality, she believes the best way to deliver truly transformational results is to listen and learn – then step on the gas. Using proven, data-driven tactics, she specializes in integrated marketing plans, content strategy and product commercialization to drive and deliver innovative marketing campaigns that produce stellar results.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Megan leads marketing, branding and go-to-market strategy across Vaco’s family of brands. With fifteen years of experience in B2B Marketing and Communications across financial services, commercial real estate, healthcare and professional services, she has a proven track record of leading through change – and delivering results in highly complex, matrixed and constantly evolving global organizations.
Prior to joining Vaco, Megan served as Chief Marketing Officer, North America, for the global professional services firm, Aon. She’s also held leadership positions in the marketing departments of Aetna, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Brookfield Properties, where she specialized in partnering with business leaders to deliver progressive solutions aligned with strategic business goals.
Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communications from the University of St. Thomas. She’s served in various volunteer roles supporting diversity and career development in marketing, especially for women, young professionals and the Asian-American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) community.
While she used to love pretending to be Julia Child as a kid, lately Megan’s culinary focus is reserved for baking cookies, cakes and other confections. She can often be found experiencing the world through as many different mediums as possible – whether she’s getting lost in the pages of a new book, trying out a new restaurant or exploring a new city – and she currently lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and two dogs.
