Phillip Noe

“Being on the technology side, my team is an enabler to Planet Vaco.  When we do our job right, technology is an extension of the talent and client.”

Phil Noe is a master at blending two worlds: applying high-tech, cutting edge solutions to an industry that’s driven by human touch and instinct. It’s a tightrope walk, but Phil works hard to make the vital technology side of our business fluid and effortless, applying innovative tech in thoughtful ways to make our people more productive and successful. He’s 100% behind our mission to knock the status quo on its ear at every turn; using tech to put people first is a key part of getting it done, every day.

Phil leads our information technology strategy both internally and externally, implementing innovative technology solutions and programs to best serve Vaco clients, candidates and consultants. He works closely with business leaders to deploy emerging tools and technologies, and makes sure that Vaco’s tech side helps us keep our service promises around the world. In short, Phil stays curious, and uses that curiosity to make big decisions that keep us moving forward.

Phil’s 25+ years in the IT field have brought him to IT management and executive positions across several industries. Most recently, he served as North American CIO for a Fortune Global 500 temporary staffing company; he’s also known widely as an expert in global delivery model and frequently lectures on the topic. He has held appointments at the University of North Florida, teaching in both the College of Business and the College of Health. In a former life, he owned a wine bar in a beach town (yes, really) that once welcomed Lenny Kravitz to its stage. Did we mention he’s also full of surprises?

Phil’s community leadership includes the Advisory Board for the Florida State College of Jacksonville, the economic development committee with the Chamber of Commerce, and the University of Florida Parent and Family Council.
