“I’m so proud to be a part of building this amazing organization, and to have created lifelong friendships with such talented and fundamentally good people along the way.”
If problem-solving was an Olympic sport, we’d see Renee Fisher’s face smiling back at us from a big orange box of Wheaties, no question. She’s not doing it for the the handshakes and high-fives (though she earns them in spades)- Renee loves the actual act of helping, guiding, managing expectations and making sure people get what they came for and then some. Whether it’s a client, candidate, consultant or fellow Vacotian, Renee embodies our people-first culture in every relationship and action, every day.
As Executive Partner, Renee fearlessly charts the strategic course for multiple Vaco offices, investing in current and future Vacotian leaders and driving business development efforts. Prior to this role, Renee built Vaco Richmond from the ground up in 2004. The entire Vaco Nation owes the success of our first expansion to her knowledge, courage, experience and ethics.
Renee began her career at KPMG Audit, Tax and Advisory Services in Richmond, gaining valuable experience with manufacturing, retail, distribution, not-for-profit and financial service clients. Prior to joining the Vaco Nation, she spent more than a decade serving in senior executive level positions across the region and executed consulting engagements for clients in Virginia and nationwide.
Renee earned her B.S. in Accounting at Virginia Commonwealth University and is involved with several community organizations, serving on the audit committee for the Alzheimer’s Association and the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement. As a passionate supporter of entrepreneurs and startups, Renee serves on the Board of Directors for Venture Forum RVA.
Renee lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband and four children, a team she credits with keeping her grounded and driving her just the right amount of crazy to keep things interesting.
