As Vice President of Talent Solutions, Scott prides himself on lending his deep Vaconian knowledge to more than 400+ recruiters in all specialties across the globe. He works one-on-one with our local managing partners to implement the most innovative and effective recruiting approach to each specific market.
As a leader of leaders, Scott enables our managing partners and recruiters to continuously improve and grow as advocates for candidates and as contributing members of the Vaco family. He prides himself on his “24/7, always-on, mountain-moving” brand of service, and believes that making a successful placement is so much more than finding someone a job. The right placement can be life-changing, and that’s a business Scott’s happy to be in.
We were thrilled to entice Scott to come to the Vaco side of the street way back in 2004. At the time, he was working as Division Director at a major national recruiting firm and had been recognized as one of the company’s top fifteen individual producers worldwide. Since joining the Vaco nation, Scott has played a vital role in growing and shaping the way our recruiters work through tactical workforce planning, recruitment best practices, trend analysis, new recruitment tools, and social strategy.
Scott earned his B.A. in Psychology at Henderson State University. He is actively involved with several community organizations, including the Root 53 Foundation. He’s a man of fun contradictions, too: we don’t know any other opera aficionados who harbor such a love for rap metal legends Rage Against the Machine or anyone who can drop an F-bomb with such grace.
