What Are You Grateful For?

Posted 11/22/19 Matt Raymond

With the holidays being just around the corner, we’ve asked Matt Raymond, the managing partner of Vaco Indianapolis, what he’s grateful for. Vaco Indianapolis launched in January of 2013 after Matt’s college friend connected Matt and Jerry Bostelman, Vaco’s Founder and CEO. That introduction led to the procurement of Vaco Indianapolis.

“I was given the freedom to create a place where like-minded individuals could come together and thrive in an industry that we all love,” said Matt. “Where collaboration amongst service lines and healthy conflict is designed to be productive.”

Vaco Indianapolis has grown exponentially since January of 2013 and isn’t looking to slow down anytime soon. Matt says he is grateful to have been given the opportunity to create and cultivate a place for himself and dedicated others that provide more value and purpose than just receiving a paycheck.

“We have a culture and process where doing the right thing and creating relationships with both clients and coworkers are more important than the dollar sign,” says Raymond about the culture of the Indianapolis office. “I’m grateful for the members of the Vaco Indianapolis team. Without their commitment, hard work and professionalism, Vaco Indianapolis wouldn’t be possible.”

Matt also attributes much of his office’s success to Vaco’s global footprint and the guidance and support of the Vaco Global team that sits in Nashville, TN (Vaco’s headquarters).

“I’m thankful to be a part of a locally owned business in the community I love, while also having the global footprint that allows me to collaborate with some of the most intelligent and thoughtful people I’ve ever met.”
