Economic Update:  Where Are We in the “Soft Landing?”

Program Description

The presentation will be a non-jargon discussion of the current condition of the US economy. Topics such as growth, jobs, and inflation will be discussed.  Particular focus will be on the Federal Reserve and its goal of moderating inflation without causing a recession.

Learning Objectives

After attending this event one should leave the session with:

• An understanding of where the economy is and where it is going.
• An understanding of what factors to watch to understand the economy.
• An understanding of what tradeoffs policymakers face in addressing the economy.

How to earn your credit:

• Participants of the live broadcast are eligible to receive 2 CPE credits in Economics or 2 PDC credits in Business Acumen. You will need to attend for 100+ minutes and answer 6+ polling questions for CPE credits, or you will need to attend for 120+ minutes and answer 6+ polling questions for PDC credits.
• Partial credit will not be offered.
