Program Description

This event will look into the provisions of the new retirement plan legislation, Secure2.0. We will cover how the Act calls for the expansion of coverage to participants, Roth expansion, plan design innovation, and financial incentives. The second half of this webinar will discuss how a long and happy life can be enhanced by taking specific steps to think through what you want your life to be as you age. Planning for your future self takes both financial and personal preparation.

 

Learning Objectives

 

  • Learn the key provisions of Secure2.0, the rationale for them, and how they impact employer retirement plans and timelines.

  • Learn key attributes of good planning for a long life from target accumulation amounts to Social Security estimates to creating your own timeline for your day-to-day life and purpose.

     

How to earn your credit:

 

  • Participants of the live broadcast are eligible to receive 2 CPE credits in Business Management or 2 PDC Credits in Business Acumen. You will need to attend for 100+ minutes and answer 6+ polling questions for CPE credits, or attend 120+ minutes and answer 6+ polling questions for PDC credits.

  • Partial credit will not be offered.
